This is part two of my earlier update, because it's just so much easier to do it that way! I would have waited, but I'm going on yet another vacation, and I'd rather not have any pending updates during that time. Recent additions include one of my favorite pieces of fan art: Tomorrow's Children. I love the Krelian-Karellen connection, so this piece is really nice. The Downloads section has been updated with two new wallpapers - technically one, I suppose, that I decided to make two versions of. Not the greatest, but I have to do something with all of these random CA scans sitting on my hard drive. Links to webrings, communities, and so on have been added to the link page. The Shitan, Emeralda, and Id shrines also have new links, along similar lines. I don't belong to any of them personally, but only because I'm lazy and completely uninterested in socializing. ^.^ That's it this time! Really. Part One: August 2, 2004 I should look at my list of plans for this site once in a while. It's very enlightening. There are five new links today: Proto Merkabah has been added to the main link page, The Blue Traveler and Fragile Faith have been added to Billy's list, The First and the Last has been added to Id's, and Maria's Krelian Shrine has been added to Krel's. They've been slated for an update for ages, and slipped my mind. ^^ Aleandra submitted two beautiful pieces of fan art, one focused on Fei, and the other on Krelian and Sophia. (Why isn't there more fan art of those two? They have so much potential!) OneWingedHyu has given us "Heaven Hide Your Eyes," a songfic focusing mainly on Shitan (another quick way to my heart), and now... I crave more fiction. I suppose I could write my own, but I'd rather have something good. As for site news... if you're unlucky enough to read my journal, you know that I'm planning to renovate the Krelian shrine, and hopefully do some work on Miang's shrine after that. They're the only characters I feel inspired to fangirl over these days, so those are the ones I'm going to play with. Billy might get lucky if I decide to share my crazy theories. Though I hate to say it, the other shrines are probably going to remain frozen for a while. I have ideas, but simply no motivation to do anything about them. I'm also going to wander around and beg fan fics from people whose work I've been following for a while; though I've read nearly every Xeno fic I can find, they aren't all here on Guardian Angels. I've striven to make this site a resource for Xenogears information, but I'd also like to offer a complete (or as close as I can get) fiction archive, because that's what I love best about the fan scene. I anticipate little success, but I'd like to try. | |||||||||||
