Translation Questions

- Some of your translations are incorrect.
Yes, that's true. I'm in the process of rewriting the worst sections of the site, but this takes time, and sometimes I put it off for a while. It'll get done eventually. In the meantime, I've linked to new translations on the update page, on the character pages I thought were the worst offenders (Shitan, for example), and if you search for the Ultimate Graphics Perfect Works translation, you'll find a more up-to-date version by someone else.

- Where are all of your Perfect Works translations?
They're integrated with all of my information. There won't be a separate section for them.

- Have you translated the whole book?
No, only the parts I was most interested in - the profiles for Shitan, Billy, Jesse, Krelian, Zephyr, Kahr, and related characters, as well as the section on Solarian government structure and the timeline at the beginning of the book. When not using my own translations, I use the rendering of chapter one by int, a translation of Episode I and Krelian's profile by a friend, and the Ultimate Graphics translation now that I know it exists. Credit will be given at the bottom of each page whenever I use someone else's translation, but as of the date this was written (08.10.11), these revisions to the site are still in progress and haven't been uploaded yet.

- Where can I get a copy of the book (etc.)?
Good luck. I don't think anyone sells it now that Digicube is gone, and the book was out of print long before they went away. You might be able to find it on ebay if you're willing to pay the price. It originally sold for about $50-$60, but you'll be paying a hell of a lot more for it now.

General Site Questions

- Can I use information from Guardian Angels?
As long as you give credit where it's due, go ahead. Note who the translator and/or writer is, and that your source is Guardian Angels, and you're golden. Consider it insurance; if the information is wrong, you have us to blame instead. :D

I want to emphasize giving credit to the right translator, here; I've done some more recent translations, but I'm also using an old translation from int and referring to the Ultimate Graphics translation where necessary. That's three different people, and it'd be nice if they got proper credit for their work.

- Can I use a fan work from your site?
Please ask the artist or writer before you use their work for anything. Email addresses are provided wherever possible. If you can't contact the person, err on the side of caution and don't use their work.

- Why do you spell some of the character/place names differently?
I use the romanizations I prefer on Guardian Angels. Usually this coincides with the official romanization, and sometimes it doesn't. The only examples I can think of offhand are Shitan (Citan) and Regulus (Regrs), and what they are should be clear from the context.

- Can I archive Guardian Angels?
I'd rather you didn't. The site should stay up on this server even if I don't update, and if it goes down for some reason, I'll make the information available to those who want it via other mediums (Livejournal, Google+, etherealvoid.net, etc.).

- Will you exchange links with me?
Sure! Sometimes it takes me a while to update - sorry about that. Send your suggestion to 'myaru@etherealvoid.net' for now.

- Why haven't my emails been answered?
Things get buried in my inbox, and sometimes I just don't know they're waiting for a reply. Feel free to email me again if it's important. If your question is game-related, you may find faster help elsewhere.

- I found broken links!
Please let me know what page it's on and which link it is, and... eventually it'll be fixed.
