Submission FAQ

November 9, 2003

Look, it's November! Ahah. How time flies when one is busy. ^^ But unfortunately, as it says on the main page, between school and the general lack of submissions, there will likely be long stretches of time between updates. I might occasionally be tempted into writing a story or sketching something, but for the most part, my obsessive energy is being poured into Suikoden once again.

So, the inspiration for this update - Jo has sent us another Comic Anthology translation! This makes me very happy. (See? ^__^) Today's addition is "Dawn's Song," the short story dedicated to Miang's thoughts at her death in Merkava. It reflects a lot of what Rune and I speculated for our fanfics, which is yet more thrilling. Thank you Jo! We love you! ;_;

Featured in the Analysis section are two new essays - one is a wonderfully thorough analysis of Miang as a character, and the other is a speculation on (as the title implies) Gnosticism and chaos. It's mostly Xenosaga themed. In the References section, I got off my lazy duff long enough to add something new: a reference for one of Bart's gear pilots, Maitreya.

It was brought to my attention that my information on Joshua Black has dropped from the site. Many apologies for that - it used to be in Jesse's shrine, and I forgot to add it to his profile. ^^ It will be added again as soon as I have time to fiddle with portraits.

Also in recent news, XenogearsMUCK, which has become XenogearsMUSH more recently, is finally running its last plot and closing down. This is a sad event for me. ^^ I wasn't there from the very beginning, but I spent a good deal of time there in its earlier days as Miang, and it's a shame to see it go. Still, all good things must come to an end, and I hope the game's last days are spectacular.

Until next time! Whenever that may be.
