I bet you thought I had something to update with, didn't you? Well I don't! Ha! But I do have a challenge for all of you fic writers and artists, if you're interested.

This is the product of an old doujin project and my participation in the Juuni Kokki 20+ themes challenge - the idea is to write a story or draw a picture for each of these prompts. It can be any length, any media, et cetera. I tried to come up with themes that could be applied to a variety of characters, situations, and eras, but there are a few with obvious choices, if you want the easy way out.

Xenogears: 10 themes
1. Dreaming of things long gone.
2. Not all is as it seems.
3. Only one secret among many.
4. Just like old times.
5. Unification.
6. The loss of a loved one.
7. The burden of duty.
8. Learning a new way of life.
9. Break free of destiny's chains.
10. In the eye of the beholder.

If you finish the first ten and want more:
- Jealousy.
- A day in the life.

Any stories or artwork you send in response to this challenge will be posted in a special archive, as well as the normal fic or art archives. I'm afraid I don't have anything pretty to give away if you finish all of them, but it's a matter of pride for me, so! >_> I'll lavish praises on you during the next update, or something, and grant you immortality. Um, yeah.

There is no restriction on content, though I'd prefer everything stay tasteful, just because it'll serve a wider range of viewers. Interpreting 'tasteful' is up to you. There is no time limit.

I'll also be participating in this. It's a terrible time of year to work on a project like this, but I like to have alternatives when my big projects come around, so I can procrastinate.

That's it. Maybe next time I'll update the references. There's a lot to add, but I didn't feel like putting the work in today. There are papers I have to write instead.

Xenogears and everything in it are copyright Squaresoft. I claim no credit for their work/property. All artwork and stories belong to their respective artists and authors.
