March, 24, 2003 Happy anniversary, Guardian Angels. ^.^ As you can see, the renovation is finally, finally done! It probably lacks anything special for those of you who have been around to see it hyped for two years, but hey, I'm happy. It's finally over with. And I still like the way it looks. Thanks for the design, Zakky! Some things are new, some things have been changed or edited, and some things are exactly the same: The Character and History sections have been almost completely revised. I tried to rewrite most of the material there (which is what took so long - that's not exciting work), but the gear profiles have stayed the same, and I'm afraid Bart got shafted (for now - I didn't want to delay for only one file). The References are also more or less the same, with a few small revisions and additions. I really should go through and refine those, but that's a project for later. Analysis, Fan Fiction and Art, Downloads, Merchandse, Links, and Manga are all about the same. Most of those contain material I have no right to modify anyway, so I left them alone. If your email address is missing or changed, please contact me. I did my best to keep everything consistent, but things may have been lost in the conversion. Hopefully the mistakes are minimal. I'll be fiddling with and refining the website as time goes by, and if I have the time, I'll also complete the information revisions. I'd also like to make custom 404 pages and rotate the top image once in a while. *shrug* Other than that, the site is ready to go. And last but not least - Chapter three of "Putting the Pieces Back Together" has been posted, and there are three new poems - you can find links to them all in the little blue box at the top of the update. (Fun little thing, isn't it?) Two of my new wallpapers are up (Sigurd and Jesiah from Liquid Sky). Eight new references have been added: Norn, Ignas, Aquavy, Terrane, Excalibur, Abraham, Veil, and Goliath. (If I didn't miscount, this makes 149. That's a surprise. I think a recount is in order. ^^) The shrines are kinda... sorta updated. They've been rearranged, and in some cases content has been added, but the real updates I have planned are still in progress. I wanted to get the main site done before messing around with them. Don't worry, the shrines for Grahf, Emmy, Billy, and Miang are coming. Seriously. ^.^ As far as the overall information rehaul... well, it's the product of my old translations, conversations on the message boards, the game, and random stuff I've read all over the net. I don't guarantee I'm 100% correct, but it's much better than it was. Enjoy! | |||||||||||
