(The title means "Element of Ice". I used ice because "mizu" (water) didn't sound quite as good to me. I'm not totally sure it's correct though......)

Anyway...... well, I've worked on this picture for over a month, and to put it bluntly, I HATE it. I drew it without a model -- that may work well enough when I draw women, because I know that sort of thing better (since I'm female... ^^), but it failed misrably with poor Shitan. ^^; Part of the fault might lie with the pose itself, but how was I supposed to know it would be so hard? Even the coloring didn't turn out the way I had hoped, because I didn't have the right pencils.... ><

Anyway, this is supposed to be a captured moment when he's spinning around to confront an attack. When I had the original sketch of the hair going there was more motion to the pic, but it was on the wrong site for this angle...... there was just a whole string of things that ruined this drawing, one being my incompetence with male figures...... So after my next (planned) eight drawings, I am officially quitting fan art because of this picture. That's how much it discouraged me. ^^ So enjoy these next eight pieces......
