Alice

Alice

Gender: female
Birthplace: Lahan

Alice was a long-time friend of Fei's, and older sister to Dan. Along with Timothy, they were inseperable during the years after Fei's mysterious arrival in Lahan, and the game hints that they had feelings for each other. Unfortunately, the traditions of Lahan prevented her from marrying an outsider, so she accepted Timothy's proposal. The night before their wedding day a contingent of gears landed in Lahan, and the ensuing fight led to the destruction of the town and Alice's death.

Timothy

Timothy

Gender: male
Birthplace: Lahan

Timothy was one of Fei's friends in Lahan. He and Alice were engaged to be married, and if he knew about Alice's feelings for Fei, he didn't show it. He tried to get along with Alice's little brother with minimal success, but otherwise he seemed to be pretty popular among the townspeople. He was killed by Grahf's soldiers during the attack on Lahan while trying to rescue Dan from the destruction.

Dan

Dan

Gender: male
Birthplace: Lahan

Dan is Alice's troublemaking brother, and a hopeful friend of Fei's. He dislikes Timothy and would rather see his sister marry Fei, but that changes when Lahan is destroyed. Shitan saved his life, and he goes on to hate Fei for a long time before he finally forgives him at Midori's urgings.

Chief Lee

Chief Lee

Gender: male
Birthplace: Lahan

This man was designated as Fei's caretaker when the younger man was left in his care three years before the game. He treats Fei like his own son and thinks it's a shame that he can't marry Alice, but he is quite firm about holding up town tradition. It's assumed that Chief Lee died with most of the other citizens of Lahan during the town's destruction.
