|characters/gears| Thoughts on Cain by Ankh're If Cain was working (however slightly/unwittingly/subversively/whatever) against Krelian and Krelian's plots, wouldn't that imply that, in a rather backhanded way, he was on the same 'side' as Fei's group? The enemy of my enemy, after all.. They were working towards at least one common goal (thwarting Krelian). So, given that Citan was reporting back to Cain, he wasn't being quite as underhanded as it looks, depending on your viewpoint. Maybe, if Cain had been more than a puppet, something different would have happened with Solaris. Just a thought.. |
