~*~ Well, this isn't really an update... just a note to let you know that I'm still alive and everything. ^^ Unfortunately, I just don't have time to do anything but work and homework right now, hence the lack of any real updates. That will end soon (vacation is almost here, finally), but I'm afraid you'll have to wait another week or two before I can do anything of substance. I'm really sorry about this, but I can't help it, so... hang in there. ^.^ Especially everyone who sent submissions - you're still in the folders. ^_^ Ja, mata ne! ~*~ Gods, how horrid. ^.^ I kinda sorta wanted to update more than once a month, and the world isn't cooperating with me. Bah. As much as I hate to say it... for now, expect infrequent updates. I just can't manage very much free time anymore, no matter how hard I try. I'll do my best, but... ~*~ In any case... today's update is mostly fan art, with a few information modifications on the side that are too small to mention... I'll start working on the mini-renovation again soon (which you can see here, though it's really not much), but first I have to finish some of my other stuff - my poor co-writers must be going nuts. ^.^ Note also, that if you sent something to us and it isn't up now, that doesn't mean we're forgetting about you -- it just means that your submission requires conversion or other complicated stuff, and I just... don't have the time to spare at the moment. It'll go up next update! Fan Art - We've got two new artists (one of which send us sevreal works at once!), and returning name as well, all on page five. ^_^Letters - A document covering random speculation passed between Dermot and myself has been added. ^.^ Storyline speculation, theories... you know how it goes.Anima Relics and Omnigears - Thanks to a kind submission (our first in awhile, too!), we've updated some of the background information on the tribes of Israel.~*~ Well well... as soon as I promise more updates, I find out I don't have the memory (computer memory, that is) to do what I had planned... that put a slight damper on things. It's also slowed the mini-renovation somewhat, so expect a few more delays... However, since most people are starting school again right now anyway (myself included - classes are taking up a lot more of my time than I thought they would), I suppose it's not a horrible thing... ~*~ Submissions are also kind of slow right now, so for now I've got kind of a mid-level update for you (as far as size goes). More will be posted as soon as possible (we have a few fics in the mailbox that we have yet to look over), and eventually we'll have the other stuff I've been planning, but hopefully this will tide you over. I'll try to get around school, but I've also got to work (looking for a second job - ick), so please bear with me. ^^ GA is high on my list of priorities, but I've also got to make sure I have food and a place to live, right? Won't get many updates if I don't have that! ^.~ Fan Fiction - Two fanfics today... two I had a hand in. It's almost ominous... "Last Kiss Before Morning" and "Oceans of Stars" are both up in the fiction section, co-written with Rune Grey.Letters - It's been awhile since I updated this... mainly, I've posted all of the storyline/history/character threads from the new Lea Monde board... I wish I could access all of the old discussions from the GA board at TNS, but those are gone - however, these are just as good, if not better. ^.^ And the information I typed there is more recent than some of the stuff I have in my really old histories here (although I'm working to remedy that, finally!).
Fan Art - Two new pics by a new artist! They're cute and nicely drawn, and they're both up on page five - just click on the link and you'll jump to the right place.
Krelian Shrine - Finally, a new diary chapter... ^.^ After the new shrines are done I'll also be posting the Krelian sketches and artwork from the PW in here, so look forward to that. ^_^ (It might even end up in the next update, since submissions are so slow... I have time to do it. Scary. But don't bet money on it just yet!)
~*~ Well, I... think I've recovered. ^.^ I managed to make this update, so I guess I'm not all that sick anymore. (It's school, darn it -- it made me get better. ^^ The risk of being dropped from classes tends to motivate me.) ~*~ In other news... ^.^ The Diary contest is over yet again, and all we've got so far is the few entries we got last time it was open. ^^ This is fine, of course -- assuming they're approved, they'll be added, and that's it. People. **shakes head** You ask us to reopen the contest, but then no one sends anything in! If you want to see new chapters that badly... you're just going to have to wait for us to write them ourselves. ^_^ But don't count on them being done anytime soon. ^_~ ~*~ Other than that... sorry for such a long break in updates. I just wasn't able to do anything when I was sick, and the server downtime didn't help in motivating me. ^.^ But as long as you keep the submissions coming in, we should be back on track and updating more often again. I'm working on a more minor renovation right now, and that will take awhile, but it won't interfere with the site this time, so don't worry. And the shrines are all in progress, so soon, everything should be done! Thanks for your support, all! ^_^ And on with the updates... Fan Fiction - Musia fans, you'll be happy to know that there's been a HUGE update to Deona's fanfic - chapters 4, 5, and 6 are now up and running, and the links should be completely functional now. ^_^ (Also, please see Deona's note on "A Pair of Angels".) There is also a great new fanfic on page six - "Angel of Silence" by Kailyssa Lockheart. So go read!About the Site - I've added Azusa's profile finally (I know, I'm so lazy... gomen Azusa!) - and don't worry about the sig. ^_^ It's my fault again. And my own profile (Amber Michelle) has been updated as well, to reflect certain recent changes - like quitting RPGamer (rejoice!), getting a personal site, etc.Fan Art - I've posted a beautiful collage of the main characters of Xenogears on page five -- it's very nice and well-drawn, so be sure to see it before you go elsewhere. ^_~Winamp Skins - Yes, this section has finally been updated. You know, I still have to find the other five I had in my old folders... ^^ Anyway, there are two new winamp skins for you -- one focused on Elly's pretty smile, and the other focused on Miang in absolutely beautiful colors.Krelian Shrine - Just a new link, for now - Krelian for President! ^.~ The diary will be updated next time - funnily enough, 13 is finished, but not 12. I have to learn to write them in order...The First Thirteen - There are a lot of minor updates to the information, and I finally remembered to add the names of the Ministers - be sure to check them out if you're writing fics based on these characters. Contrary to popular belief, the Gazel are NOT named after their Anima Relics. ^_^ |
