Music -- I've added the lyrics (translated) of the Xenogears: Creid songs for those of you who might be interested. For those who don't know, the songs are all in Japanese (of course), and I thought it would be nice if people could figure out what they're saying. ^_~

Links -- I've added Rune's new fan fiction page to my list of links - although it isn't totally Xenogears, all of his Xenogears fan fiction, both past, present, and future, will be housed there, alon with whatever else he builds in honor of the greatest game of all time. ^_^ And I am still considering affiliates, so please be patient!

Important!!! I've gotten a lot of mail about the site, and a few submissions as well -- but I ask you all to be patient, and I apologize for leaving you all hanging. I really need to get through the RPGamer fics, so replies will be delayed. Your submissions are safe, however, so don't worry about that. I've considered it all, and as soon as I have time to make a decent update, I'll make sure everything is posted/acknowledged, or whatever. ^_^

Music -- It's been added, basically. ^_^ Both CD soundtracks are listed, so if you want music, hop on over there and take a look.

World -- "Names and Places" has been updated with a few new entries, and some of the old ones have been expanded (Fei and Marguerite are the only ones I remember off the top of my head, but I think there were a few other old ones that have been 'expanded'.)

Spoilers -- Two new "rogue letters" have been added: one containing several thoughts on the ending, and another entirely about Kislev. (It seems out of place, but it does have a few minor spoilers, so I wanted to be careful. The Names and Places and Anima Relic pages are already borderline as it is......)

Links -- I've added a link to Kamitra's "Xenogears Linking Works" at the top of the page (under my favorites). It's a great idea, so be sure to help her out! ^_^

Coming up next update, we'll have fan fiction, more art from Calis and me, another shrine or two, and something to actually put in the "game information" section so that faq isn't all alone...... ^_~ I might actually finish one of my stories soon, too. Krelian's third chapter will be up, at the very least. ^_^ Ja ne!

For those of you who don't know (are there such people anymore?!), there is a rumor going around the Net about Xenogears 2. Yes, a rumor. Is that so hard to believe? I'm sure there are people who say "All the big sites are posting it, so of course it must be true!" -- but any fool should know that the source of most rumors is the news. ^^ I don't mean to deplore my friends, or anyone who's been kind ot me in the past, but I'm afraid they've all disappointed me.

GIA first posted this rumor after ripping a quote off of a message board. No proof, nothing to accompany it -- even the quote says nothing. So why, pray tell, did they post it? Becuase of that, loyal fans have lost their only chance to speak with this character designer. Worse, other people are posting it....... even though it's been proven groundless.

But the article's credibility, however non-existent, is only part of the point. The point is -- in this particular rant -- the information was used without permission. Just a few weeks ago, someone also (on top of losing our privileges with this designer) tried to take credit for writing Calis's story, Sword Soul. Others took credit for writing Snow Fields (a well-known Vincent fan fic) before that. What is all this? It's not safe to say, do, or post anything in the internet anymore -- that's what this is telling me, and a lot of other people as well. I know of several excellent writers and artists who refuse to post anything anymore -- you may know a few of them.

Is this what you want? To lose the chance to talk to these artists, game designers, and writers that we love? Lose access to their work, which everyone seems to enjoy so much? I may stop writing and drawing myself, just to protect my rights. If that's what everyone wants...... so be it. I only hope these people learn the hard way that what they're doing is wrong.

Kamitra wrote an article titled Grey Day just a little while ago for me to post on this site. I suggest you read it -- she presents some good points, and maybe it'll help you understand where we're coming from, and why we're so angry about something that seems so minor.

In honor of this..... no updates today. I felt this was more important, and I'm sure the contributors of original/fan woks would feel the same way.

Yes I did find a few bits of Xenogears merchandise, but not exactly what I was looking for! ^_~ Liquid Sky will come in soon, hopefully........ for now, all the new stuff will be listed normally, below. And, although I'll probably miss the actual ten-thousandth hit, I'm finally working on the new front picture. That's right -- the one up is temporary, so you can all breathe a sigh of relief now...... ^_~

Elly Shrine -- A quote from one of my new pieces of merchandise has been added to the front page, Chapter Five of Crystal Waters is up, and a new link has been added. Rejoice!

Krelian Shrine -- It's up! All of it works...... the server might cause problems with all the pictures (that's why some don't load, by the way) but it's all up! The next chapter of Silent Wishes will be added next time, though.

Fan Fiction -- One new fan fic has been added -- it's the second part of Alex's fic, Rebuilding. ^_^ We've had it for awhile, but just didn't manage to put it up until now. (Sorry about that! ^_~)

General Fan Art -- One new pic has been added, though we do have another waiting in the folders...... This one is a stylistic drawing of Elly and Miang, by Shiohisa.

Links -- Three new banners have been made for this address -- finally! They don't include the page's address - just the title - so I'll never have to go through that again.......

I'll be searching for any and all Xenogears merchandise there -- and I have all three days to do it -- so with any luck, I'll have some new stuff to scan in. Prepare to be dazzled! (We hope.) I might even have enough money for cards or something, though if I get the two items I'm looking for, that's rather doubtful......

Anyway, now that you know that, you also know that I won't be updating this page for the next four days. ^_^ But when I do get back I'll be updating again, with a completed Krelian shrine and new profiles. Or so I hope...... I also have some fan art and a fan fic sitting in my folders, but I'm afraid I didn't have time to update those this weel My apologies to the author/artists!

Characters -- I've added Alice's profile, finally. ^_^

Elly shrine -- I've added a fourth chapter to Crystal Waters, and the second chapter of Silent Wishes in Emeralda's mini-shrine. A new Elly post for the DeM lists is also up -- the full version of "That Familiar Feeling". And since the Elly art is available elsewhere, I probably won't add any more unless I get requests. (And I know about the picture shrine -- I had a link to it in the main links section before the rest of you knew it existed. ^^ I'm looking for shrines more like the one here, if you know what I mean.)

Just a last note -- you'll be seeing image maps pop up around the site now and then...... it's just me experimenting with a new skill, that's all. I don't want the site to be graphics-heavy, after all. I won't go overboard....... really. ^_^

Now, on a more cheerful note......

World -- More names and information have been added to both "Names and Places" and "Anima Relics and Omnigears". I came across several wonderful encyclopedias in the bookstore yesterday, and although I couldn't buy them, I found a ton of information!

Elly Shrine -- I've added another chapter of Crystal Waters, and I fixed the navibar! (Nothing was really wrong with it, but a link to "Diaries" was missing. ^^) I've also added the first chapter of the Emeralda diary...... it's a joint story of sorts with Krelian, hence the link leading to Krel's diary page. But don't click on his links; they don't work quite yet. Guess he's next on the list, eh? ^_^

Just as a note -- I'm not really putting these shrines up in any particular order. Sigurd and Shitan will be last in the line, but that's for content reasons. Ah well...... see you next update. ^_~

Well, that's basically the update. I'll have a profile for Alice in a few days, and with any luck Elly's shrine will be finished by the end of the week. I've been thinking of making a profile page for the Gazel Ministry as well, but I'm not sure whether it'd be worth the work, you know? Feedback on that would be appreciated. And for those of you who have asked, Yui and Midori will be up in Shitan's shrine, not the normal section. (Too many spoilers associated with them.) Same for the other minor characters associated with people in the "shrines". ^_^
