"Their Digital World" , Mon 14 Aug 11:07

Hmmmm... well, we know that Lacan did alot of damage to Solaris during the Diabalos Collapse, even though he did not manage to destroy the place. And we also know that he decided to take out a large portion of his excess anger on the Gazel Ministry, thus changing them from a bunch of wrinkled old men to dead wrinkled old men...

But then Krelian came along and resurected them in a digital form. And undid all of Lacan's hard work in making the world a better place for Lambs everywhere... ho hum.

But if Krelian did not rise to a high position in Solaris for a signifigant length of time... did the Gazel Ministry die during the Collapse, or did they die later on, when Krelian was there to ensure that they survived in digital form? And if they DID die during the Collapse, then how did Krelian manage to recreated them inside of the Sol 5000 computer? From some 'backup' of their mind the Ministry had prepared for such an event, or perhaps through extensive scans of their brains?

I can't really see Krelian and Miang not making the Ministry more tractable when they resurected them in the computer system... which begs the question: Was Krelian really the one who 'saved' the Gazel Ministry, or did he simply gain control of the computer later on?

My guess is that when Lacan attacked Solaris, for some reason or another, either he made it to the 12 ministers, or they were stupid enough to go out in Gears to do battle with him. 4 of them were totally annihilated while the other 8 were only given serious injuries, so much that they would die quickly. Seeing as they didn't have much time left, the Ministers had themselves hooked up to a computer system in order to preserve their memories as binary data. Unfortunately, the technology was never there to revive them until Krelian came along 41 years before the game and brought them back.

This is the theory that I have done in my illfated fanfic series, "Cheaters of Fate" Obviously, it's just a theory.

Oh, Krelian is the one who did it, all right... He rules Solaris out of their gratitude.

There are several possibilities, actually. One, Lacan could have done it later, as you suggested... or, Krelian might have recovered their memories from them after the fact... (How this is possible, I don't know, but... this is Krelian. Come on. ^_~)

It's also possible that only the four Ministers actually died. Krelian may have simply transferred the living memories of eight seriously injured Gazel into a computer, and then let their bodies die. Solaris's medical technology was quite advanced even before Krelian arrived, and I don't doubt they would have been able to sustain the bodies of the Ministers long enough for Krelian to get there.

Miang needs them to use the Key, so... she may have been searching for Krelian specifically, in order to save them. This brings to mind stasis/cryo-freeze...

After all, like I said... the book only says that four died... that leaves the other eight, and their mysterious conversion from organic to computer...

Ok here are two of my "off the wall theories". With the four ministers who died they could have died by becoming the four orbs. I mean it makes sense 4 orbs 4 ministers and didnt True Miang say something about them being able to interface with terminal interface weapons. My guess is that they become the key component in activating Terminal interface weapons. The brainbox if you like. In an Omnigear they'd be just the pilot but in something like the four orbs they actually become a part of them. So I bet the four dead ministers were absorbed into the orbs thus activating them.

As for the other ministers perhaps their minds kept backed up in the memory cube system. Krelian could have just transferred the backups into the Sol9000 or perhaps they were still alive but with their bodies starting to get old they opted to transfer themselves in before becoming senile.

Yes totally useless ha ha chase after it

This isn't likely simply because Grahf used the four orbs - otherwise known sd the four pillars of Deus - to attack the world as Diabalos in the first place. He awakened them on his own, so those four Ministers he killed are simply dead.

Note that with the descendants of the Ministry aligning with Relics, there is no need for the Ministry themselves, except as pawns to use the Gaetia Key.

So those four are gone... although perhaps because they died, their Anima Relics also died... (I doubt it though.)

<<So those four are gone... although perhaps because they died, their Anima Relics also died... (I doubt it though.)>>

I wouldn't think so either, just based on the fact that it's the genetic(?) traits of the Ministry descendants that allow for the alignment. It just doesn't seem to make sense for Deus to design a system (Anima/Animus) that would just fall off should something unexpected happen to one/many of the 12. ...Besides, if the Animus factor IS genetic, then the other Anima Relics would indirectly have to be dead, too: the Gazel really don't have DNA anymore, just coding and programming. So, I suppose my point is that as long as there are (comparatively) living descendants, the corresponding Anima Relic should still be fine.
(Anything glaringly wrong with my reasoning? If so, please say!^_^)

Aren't terminal interface weapons another name for omnigears? Also what 4 orbs?
